Time Drill
5 Min Active Stretching
10 Min Alley Dodge with Pull Pass and Shot
  • Explain a pull pass across your body, moves the ball 1-2 seconds quicker
  • 3 Lines up top
  • First guy Dodges down the alley, hit a cone then pull passes to the center guy
  • center guy moves it to the 3rd guy for the outside shot
  • New guy goes, run to the line you pass to
  • Switch Sides
  • Variation: do top and bottom at the same time



5 Min Water
10 Min Clears
  • standard clear on whiteboard
  • banana cut defenders, middies space out, extra defender sub side
10 Min Clearing Stations
  • Split kids into these 3 groups: Attack, Middie, Defense
  • Defense Group with 1 goalie
    • Have 3 defense cluster in front of the goal
    • Goalie with the ball yells clear, 2 defense go to the side at GLE, 1 goes top right
    • Goalie passes to one at GLE, that D passes to the other GLE D, and then passes to the D near the mid line
    • Rotate all Defense in
  • Midfield Group with 1 goalie location at the midline
    • Two midfield stand about 10 yards apart passing to each other
    • Goalie yells clear and they pass to the goalie
    • Both middies banana cut out and goalie passes to one. The other Middie takes off down field, banana cutting to receive a pass from the first Middie
  • Attack Group
    • 3 Attack take the field
    • 2 attack stay near the midline and 1 attack is halfway to goal from the midline
    • Coach passes the ball to one of the top attack, the attack closest to goal runs to X
    • The other high attack takes off down the field looking for a pass. Takes the pass and either shoots or passes to the guy at X
    • X attack goes around goal and looks for attack that made the pass driving to goal
    • Original attack breaks to goal looking for a pass and goes to X, attack adjust to 2 GLE and 1 at x



20 Min Rides
  • Goalie Free
  • Goalie Chase - 3 middies lock on, 1 attack pressures goalie, 2 attack go wide for breaking defenders (If your man passes to the goalie you chase)
    • If goalie passes to the side defender, double the ball (goalie attack moves to double), the weak side attack gets on the goalie
    • Goal to force the long pass to the other defender
15 Min Man Down
  • Box and 1
  • Communicate, lock on crease guy, reverse direction of ball
  • Bingo
15 Min EMO

20 Min 6 v 6 Half Field
