10 Min Defensive Approach Stations
  • Station 1: Behind at X
  • Station 2: Top side of the box
  • Approach before ball is passed
  • Big Big Little Little
  • Dictate the direction and lead them that way
5 Min Water
20 Min Stations: 2 Goalies and CrossFire Passing
  • 2 Goalies - Patrick and someone else

Crossfire Passing

A good drill to reinforce two passes and 2 man game

  • Create a square about 15 yards by 15 yards
  • Have 4 kids per team for a total of 8 players
  • For each team, put 2 guys on the outside and 2 guys in the inside
  • The outside guys are on opposite sides of the square and cannot go inside the square
  • The inside guys are free to roam in the middle area
  • Start with the ball on the outside, make a pass or two into the middle and then to the other side
  • If through the middle and out the other side, you gain one point
  • If the ball is loose in the middle players fight for the ball
  • If the ball rolls out, it starts with the team on the line where the ball goes out
  • Try to string together multiple points

  • Butter - Kids Name
10 Min Rides
  • Goalie Free
5 Min Water
10 Min 3 lines up top pick and slip shooting
  • 3 lines at the top of the box
  • Balls in the middle line
  • Middle guy passes to the outside line, sets a pick by going in and out
  • Side guy runs through pick, pick guy rolls
  • Change up to pick and slip
  • Stress the 2 man game
