Station 1 - Goaltending Theme
- Matt to take Ryan, CJ, Brower
Station 2 - Defensive Positioning Theme
Beginner Drill
- Basics of defensive stance
- Poke check, don't over commit, contain
- v-check, bottom hand push
- Push on the hips
Intermediate Drill
Advanced Drill
Station 3 - Defensive Footwork Theme
Beginner Drill
- Approaching a man, don't over commit
- Drop step
- Turn the hips
Intermediate Drill
Alley Defensive Drill
Focus on lift checks, v-checks, push with bottom hand
- Setup 2 stations of 10 cones in a zig zag pattern
- Each cone placement should be about 10-15 yards apart
- One defensemen and one offense run the zig zag
- Offense works on dodges, defense works on footwork
- Defense shadows punches with the bottom hand and drop steps
- Players run through station 1, switch roles and then go back through station 2

Station 4 - Offensive Driving & Creating Space in a 2 Man Game
Beginner Drill
- Explain the offensive components of the field
- Whiteboard: X, Crease, GLE, Alley, Box, Midline
- Explain 4 man back 3 man forward rules
- Walk kids around the areas of the field
- How to properly dodge
- Driving down the alley, make 1 dodge
- If you don't win the dodge dish to x
