General Defense Rules
- Communication is a two way street, communication but also listen - say the command in 3’s. First time hear it, second time process it, third time execute it
- With a long stick, big big little little approach with ball pressure
- Good approach - stick out front (not on hip), take away the middle, break down
- Off ball reaction while defending, keep yourself in an athletic posture
- On the slide, look to scewer (poke check) and waist strike zone, don’t bring the stick up and then down
- Sticks up and get deflections
