Time Drill
5 Min Partner Passing
5 Min Active Stretching
10 Min Rhythm passing drill
  • Use 5 cones
  • Setup the cones in a box with a middle cone. Off the middle cone we go 6-10 yards out
  • Kids stand on the middle cone, cut towards a cone and receive the pass
  • Catch on the outside, cradle, turn and make the pass


5 Min Hands Drill
  • 4 Lines of players, players back out face the coach
  • Coaches points left/right/back with 4 guys out to do the footwork, then coach rolls 4 balls out, they pickup the ball flip to the next guy, then approach, get the stick on the bottom hand on the approach
  • Defense does the lateral footwork with the stick in front of them
10 Min Crossfire Passing


10 Min Unsettled Fast Break
  • 3 v3 attack/defense
  • Ball carrier to the right, chaser to the left, when the hit the box, the other 4 middies jump in
  • Forces a fast break and the chaser to get the top point man's guy
10 Min 4v4 from behind, with a shortened box line for out of bounds
  • Offense must give 3 passes before scoring
  • Offense gets 3 runs, if they score 2 they win, if they score 1 they tie
10 Min 6 v 6 - Situations and Missions
  • Situations:
    • 2 min left, down by 1
    • 2 min left, keep in it the box
    • End line Clear - 20/10
    • 1 min left down by a goal, faceoff
  • Missions:
    • Offensive: Seal pick, Pass Down - Pick Down, Aggressive drive to the cage, Off Ball Pick, Isolate the short stick defender, Create picks to force short stick vs attack
    • Defensive: Heavy, 3-Man, Standard Def, Camel, Slide Early
10 Min Back Pick Shooting
  • 2 v 1 setup
  • Ball starts at top, with a token defender
  • Offensive guy in the crease
  • Alley dodge flaring out, pick from crease, turns back runs to cage, receives pass and shoots
