Active Stretching
- Bring girls stick, goalie pants & shin guards, backpack, ladder

Put on Equipment
- Gear: Helmet, throat guard, thigh shorts, shin guards (soccer or lax, not field hockey), gloves, chest protector, volleyball knee pads
- Importance of the goalie, must important position on the field
- Moving and athletic moves are key to be successful at goalie

Stance in goal aka ready position
- Back is straight, arms about shoulder width apart
- stick off the body, arms at 90 degree angle, so you have room to explode
- Small goalies start lower to spring up
- Focus on the ball
- Arc when following the ball

- Bounce the ball off the helmet and chest protector

- Remember 11 other girls couldn't stop the ball
- Take 3 seconds to reflect about the goal, and then move on, next play. Let it go
