Challenge: Learn something new about a guy
- Pair kids up for the day, on 3 whistles pairs have to sprint to each other and tell each other something new about themselves

Shooting Drill Slow Break

- No goalie
- 4 lines form box around goal
- Top right person passes down to GLE lower person, that person cuts turns towards X and passes to bottom left
- Top left runs to set pick and top right comes down and gets pass from bottom left and shoots.
- Rotate lines to the left

5 Yard GB Freeze
- Players line up at a designated point on the lacrosse field.
- Each athlete holds a ball in their stick.
- On the first whistle, each player rolls a ball out about five yards in front of them.
- At the second whistle, they run to the ball, get in scoop position and then freeze.
- On the third whistle, players scoop through and sprint to the next designated point.

3 Man - Crease Slide and Recover
- Whiteboard - Walk through the 3 Man press
- Show that the slide comes from the middle, two other players cover 3 and the crease
- Man on the ball takes away the middle of the field
- Crease guy slides and yells he's hot
- The bottom guys fill and crease guy recovers
- The two men stick up try to take skip pass

Yale 1v1 ground ball to 4v3
- Goalie in net with team divided into equal teams
- 4 lines around the box with each team (8 total lines)
- Coach roles a ball out to one corner, the fight for the GB, the winning team is offense, the losing player is out of the drill, but his color stays in and it becomes a 4v3

How to get to the island?
- Stick protection - neutralize athletic ability - one hand get the elbow out wide
- The Boyle Rule - Ask yourself am I faster or more athletic then the person covering me?
- Optimal Speed - the rate at which someone or something is able to move or operate
- change of speed
- change of direction
- change of angle
- change of posture (running back/quarter back)
- Slap checks time to roll
- From X split to roll
- Vacate step, dodge on a straight line, then pop to force defender to follow, then explode to the goal
Drill: Cone Dodging using principles
Read your defender
- Coach to slap check, roll off the defender
- Coach and another attack play defense. Attack pick & Roll, if the defender calls switch, re-pick and do a slip
Station 2: Rest of Team faceoffs
- Teach Counters
- Belly to Helmet (force GB)
- Defenders try with long poles
Drill: Pressure Exits
- Goal of the drill is to have the guy winning the clamp exist under pressure
- 66% set up (one guy is going 66% clamped and the other guy is ready to go)
- coach/other specialists circled around
- Control clamp and get it to yourself
- Exit while avoiding pressure/ball hitting ground
- Coach/Other players attack (can use football pads) - try to get out clean
Drill: 66% clamed vs Belly to Helmet
- Goal of the drill is to have the Belly to Helmet guy force a GB scrum
