Coaching Insight
Every kid has the capability to be great at something that can help the team achieve success. My job as a coach is to teach the players how to maximize their ability to get better and to help them understand how they contribute to the team.
When kids realize what it takes to become excellent at the sport of lacrosse there is nothing holding them back from achieving vast improvements to their game. My job is to help kids achieve the self-understanding on what it takes to become excellent.
My goal for each season is for kids to mesh as a team and for each kid to understand which role they will fill for each game. Kids will learn specific position based skills and will have a chance to learn at each position to determine what they enjoy playing.
